Compared to bottom-mounted air conditioners, top-mounted air conditioners are more expensive. In addition, in terms of appearance and construction, rooftop air conditioners are easier to replace and maintain than bottom-mounted air conditioners, but the indoor unit is on top of the caravan, which will bring corresponding noise.
Bottom-mounted air conditioners are usually installed under the bed or at the bottom of a car seat sofa in an RV, where the bed and sofa can be opened for later maintenance. One of the advantages of under-bunk air conditioners is that they reduce the noise they make when they are in operation. The under bench air conditioner is installed under the seat or sofa, occupying a small area, and can be installed anywhere according to your needs. However, the installation is difficult and expensive.
