The PTC electric heater is an automatic temperature-controlling and power-saving heater. It uses a PTC thermistor ceramic element as a heat source and a corrugated sheet made of aluminum alloy as a heat sink, which is made by bonding and welding.
The electric air-conditioning heater PTC generally includes an MCU processor, a power module Mosfet/IGBT, an isolation pre-driver and a current detection sensor. The control system transmits the temperature information to the MCU through the temperature sensor. By comparing it with the target temperature input by the key, the MCU continuously adjusts the heater power according to the preset program based on the temperature difference, so that the temperature in the car reaches the set temperature level and displays the temperature in the car and the set temperature in real time on the LCD screen.
PTC heaters include PT air heaters and PTC liquid heaters. Since the PTC liquid heater can be arranged in the cabin, the existing car air conditioning system can be directly used, and it is more widely used in electric vehicle heating systems.
