To ensure maximum energy efficiency of the PTC water heater, the following matters should be noted during installation:
1. the highest point of the PTC should be lower than the expansion water tank;
2. the water pump should not be higher than the PTC;
3. the PTC should be installed after the water pump and before the warm air core.
4. Pay attention to the direction of water in and out of the PTC.
5. Before the PTC works for the first time, or after the repair of the pipeline components,the water pump should be run first, and make sure that it has been exhausted and then power up the PTC.
6. Before energizing, pay attention to firm installation and reliable connection of the connectors (the main high voltage cannot be reversed, otherwise the control will fail and more than ≥1 minute will damage the control board).
7. Reliable connection of grounding wires to prevent static electricity damage to components.
8. Antifreeze must not contain impurities to prevent blockage of the water tank body.
9. After unpacking, be sure to check for cosmetic damage caused by transport. Damage caused by improper installation and use (including use and installation conditions beyond those specified in the specifications) is not covered by the warranty.
10. Product installation direction: The PTC liquid heater can be installed in all directions except for the inlet and outlet, which cannot be down at the same time.
Precautions for the use of PTC Coolant Heaters
Once the high voltage coolant heater is correctly connected, it is recommended that when working on the power supply, the low voltage power is applied first, then the high voltage power; when applying the power down, the high voltage power is applied first, then the low voltage power. Water flow in the water cycle ≥ 4L/min, too low a flow will cause frequent temperature protection.
